Disaster

Unless a tsunami can be completely prevented, there is nothing that anyone can truly do in order to prepare a nation for the devastating effects that have come along with some of the most horrid tsunamis that we have seen. The Thailand tsunami is a case and point example of the effects that a tsunami will have on a particular region. The Thailand tsunami, which is also known as the Indian Ocean tsunami, took the lives of so many precious lives. In the Thailand tsunami, just as in any other natural disaster, the taking of one life is simply one life too many. The Thailand tsunami, which is also deemed the Indian Ocean tsunami, gets its name from the body of water for which the Thailand tsunami stemmed from. The Indian Ocean tsunami affected so many. The Indian Ocean tsunami had a permanent effect on the lives of many. The Indian Ocean tsunami resulted in close to 230,000 lives being taken. There were fourteen countries in all, that had felt the very powerful wrath of the Indian Ocean tsunami. The year had been 2004 when the Indian Ocean tsunami had shaken up the Indian Ocean, and the surrounding region. The Indian Ocean tsunami is said to be one of the highest category of tsunamis that there has been. It is safe to say that the Indian Ocean tsunami was one of the worst natural disasters that we have ever seen.
1. The Thailand tsunami left many parts of Thailand in ruin. This was an instance in which an Indian Ocean tsunami had left so many nations in rubbish as a result of a natural disaster. The Thailand tsunami caused many people to be displaced during the process. If their lives were not taken away from them, many others had just about everything else taken away from them. Many had watched their homes be washed away right in front of their eyes. They looked on as they ran for the hills, knowing that there was nothing that they could do but march forward in hopes for some sign of relief.
2. Well, there were many that marched forward in order to learn that there was some form of relief waiting for them. As a result of the Thailand tsunami, many people did whatever it is that they could to help the survivors. Nations all over the world gave millions of dollars to help with the Thailand tsunami relief. In addition, the Thailand tsunami relief did not stop there. Several countries sent their troops to assist in the aid that Thailand needed. Volunteers from all over the world did their parts to pitch in.
